The audience will witness these children meet and train together, evolving from a group of 11 strangers into something more than a football team, in just a few days! Using their common training and love of football as a framework, we dive into their individual lives and unique stories, including home and social life, from the peaceful cosmopolitan streets of Copenhagen, Denmark to the World Cup crazed favelas of Rio, Brazil and the remote indigenous community of Robinson River, Australia.
• Gaps between caste, class, race, gender, religion and education have never been more rapidly widening.
• Cultures and subcultures are displaced from their homes and received with suspicion.
• Opportunity to cultivate young minds, reverse and ultimately close the gap.
• Encourage compassion and cooperation.
• Showcase the power of sports towards a unified world.
Documenting how the universal language of football can break down communication barriers and unite 11 children who are seemingly so different, yet so alike!
ELEVEN offers a once in a lifetime experience for our heroes, but most importantly serve to inspire children worldwide to pursue their dreams and work together.
